Do you love working outdoors and physical activity? Not afraid of heights? We are looking for an Arborist Assistant . Hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am-5 pm . The pay is $18-$20 / hr DOE and $25-$28 / hr if licensed. Willing to train and invest in you and eventually pay for your certification. Winter season can't guarantee 40 hours / wk. Benefits include health insurance and year-end bonuses !!

Arborist Assistant Duties and Responsibilities

Structural and maintenance pruning

Removal of dead trees

Planting of trees

Operate woodchipper

Rack, pick up, and dispose of tree branches and leaves

Provide preventative tree maintenance such as watering, aerating, fertilizing, cabling, and staking to existing trees

Arborist Assistant Requirements and Qualifications

Possess valid driver’s license

Have a decent clean driving record

Must have minimum 1 year lawn care or landscaping experience

Ability to lift 50 pounds and bend, lift, and stand for extended periods

Preference given to experience driving Bobcat and / or large roll off trucks

Reliable and self-motivated

Willingness to learn safe tree climbing practices

Comfortable to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
