Role Description :
As a Customer Relations Representative with Jerome Ivie - State Farm Agent, youll be the trusted guide our customers rely on during the claims processmaking sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Youll process claims accurately, follow up proactively, and keep customers informed every step of the way, all while coordinating with the State Farm claims team.
In addition to your claims responsibilities, youll also help grow the agency by identifying opportunities for additional coverage, asking for referrals, and setting appointments for our sales team. Your ability to blend excellent customer care with a proactive sales mindset makes you a key player in our agencys success.
Responsibilities :
Serve as the primary contact for customers during the claims process.Process claims documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Proactively follow up on claims to ensure progress and resolution.Coordinate with the State Farm claims team and other internal departments.Communicate claim status updates and next steps clearly to customers.Ask for referrals and identify opportunities for additional coverage.Set appointments for sales team members when needs are identified.Maintain detailed and organized claim and customer records.Qualifications :
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.Experience in claims, insurance, or customer service preferred.Sales or appointment-setting experience a plus.Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.Highly organized with strong attention to detail.Able to stay calm under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
