A prestigious law firm in Dallas, TX, seeks a Mid-Level Associate with 3-5 years of corporate experience, focusing on mergers and acquisitions (particularly private equity) and capital markets.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in handling complex transactions and possess the ability to foster client relationships while managing a diverse caseload.
Duties :
- Manage and execute M&A transactions, with an emphasis on private equity deals.
- Oversee capital markets offerings and related securities work.
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents, ensuring compliance with all legal standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior associates, providing guidance and support on various assignments.
- Maintain strong client relationships, addressing their sophisticated legal needs and expectations.
- Handle day-to-day demands from clients, demonstrating exceptional organizational and prioritization skills.
Requirements :
- 3-5 years of corporate law experience, specifically in M&A and capital markets.
- Demonstrated ability to manage significant transactions independently and effectively.
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successful deals.
- Exceptional client management abilities and experience in maintaining long-term relationships.
- Outstanding academic credentials, with a focus on corporate law.
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Certifications :
Must be licensed to practice law in Texas.
Skills :
