Role Summary : Investment Operations Specialist
As an Investment Operations Specialist, you’ll support investment teams throughout the client and strategy life cycle. Your responsibilities include managing investment-related operational activities, acting as a primary point of contact between Fixed Income investment staff and other operational teams.
You’ll ensure that fixed income issuers and securities are correctly set up and provide essential support to FI credit analysts, covering areas such as ratings management, analyst attribution, quantitative analysis, and ad hoc requests.
Responsibilities :
- Manage ongoing operational activities related to portfolio management and credit research.
- Conduct research and analyze investment and performance data.
- Generate customized investment, risk, and performance reports.
- Resolve low to moderately complex investment-related operational issues independently.
- Participate in investment-initiated and operations-directed projects.
- Develop use cases, testing plans, and participate in user acceptance testing.
- Coordinate credit analyst responses to quantitative data inquiries.
- Review and source standard investment data for various purposes.
- Maintain accurate procedural documentation and provide operational coverage as needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, economics, finance, accounting, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
Additional Desired Experience :
- Investment management support experience.
- Proficiency in Excel, Adobe, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and diligence.
- Ability to identify and mitigate operational, financial, and reputational risks.
