Wesley Family Services is currently seeking compassionate, dedicated Behavioral Health Mobile Therapist to join our Community and School Based Behavioral Health program. POSITION DYNAMICS : 70% School Based

30% Community / In-Home Based

Job Summary :

Wesley Family Services is looking for a Community School-Based Behavioral Health Mobile Therapist to work as the clinical lead in a team of professionals delivering treatment services to children in Pittsburgh communities. This professional will provide individual, group, and family therapy to children and their families in the school, home, and community settings. The BC / MT completes an assessment for children referred to the program and with support from his / her team, develops treatment plan goals and interventions to be implemented by the team. The team works out of the school, but provide services in the home and community as well. The BC / MT delivers clinical interventions for children with mental health diagnoses most often including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, ADHD, and developmental disorders. Experience with children and adolescents that have experienced trauma will allow the candidate to be most successful in this role. The BC / MT collaborates with school personnel and other agencies, including CYF and JPO on a regular basis. Rotating on-call responsibilities are required as part of this roll.

The position provides intensive therapeutic services to a child and family in settings other than a provider agency or office. The primary setting for services is expected to be the child’s home. Other potential settings for the mobile therapist’s services include the school, the church, the community center, a neighbor’s or extended family member’s home, and other community settings as appropriate. Services provided by a mobile therapist vary according to the individualized needs of a child and family.
