About The Position

ID : 51529336 Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30) Description : RN MUST HAVE CA LICENSE IN HAND OR PENDING WITH ETAs of when it will post Required : California RN License 3 Years of Experience Hospital experience Utilization review Electronic medical record experience Experience with Interqual or MCG Bachelor's Degree Flu vaccine requiredShifts 5x8 days Mon-Friday 8-4 : 30 Please note unit is closed on holidays Case Managers function as liaisons between patients, their families & internal & external health care personnel to ensure appropriate, efficient & timely health care service.

Their focus includes providing clinical documentation to third party payers to facilitate authorization & reimbursement for inpatient hospital stays, coordinating discharge needs & providing information to the Quality department for their follow-up.

The Case Manager advocates for the patient & family & collaborates with the health care team to facilitate appropriate movement along the continuum of care from inpatient admission to discharge.

The hours spent on modules are not billable and do not count as orientation hours. All Orientation hours are billable.For NICU and HomeCare positions, travelers are reimbursed for mileage when driving to any other location, other than their home base facility they signed for at for NICU.

Mileage is reimbursed at IRS standard rate.Reimbursement form must be sent in within 30 days of floating with unit manager approval.
