About The Position
Job Title : CT Technologist I Job Specialty : Cardiovascular and / or Radiologic Technology Job Duration : 10 weeks Shift : Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM (Nights) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Entry-level position with no prior experience required License : CT Certification must be achieved within 12 months of hire Certifications : Current BLS (CPR) certification required Must-Have : Knowledge and skill in cardiovascular and / or radiologic technology, ability to understand anatomy and physiology, and ARRT certification.
Job Description : Work under supervision to achieve initial competencies delivering specialized cardiovascular and / or radiologic technology services.
- Provide patient-centric care and support in various settings, including inpatient facilities and diagnostic / urgent care centers.
- Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures.- Collaborate with patients, families, and care teams to achieve desired clinical outcomes.
- Utilize specialized equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and / or surgical procedures.- Conduct post-procedure reviews and ensure technical quality meets department protocols.
- Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting.- Perform quality control checks, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment per guidelines.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to maintain competencies.- Perform other duties as assigned.
This role requires the ability to communicate effectively, maintain accurate records, and exercise discretion in handling confidential information.
The candidate must be able to work as part of a team, multitask, and remain calm in stressful situations.
