We're looking for an assistant DevOps Engineer to join our R&D team in Granada, Spain.

The Position :

The DevOps Engineer plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between development and quality assurance. They are responsible for streamlining the software delivery process, ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of systems while fostering a culture of collaboration between different teams.

What you’ll be doing :

• Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) : Implementing and maintaining CI / CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
• Monitoring and Logging : Setting up monitoring tools and establishing logging practices to ensure system stability, performance optimization, and proactive issue identification.
• Collaboration and Communication : Facilitating communication between development, operations, and other teams, promoting a collaborative DevOps culture.
• Scripting and Tool Development : Writing scripts and developing tools to automate manual processes and improve system efficiency.

What you Bring to Safran :

• 2+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools.
• Experience with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD, or CircleCI.
• Containers (Dockers) and containers orchestration
• Strong background in Linux systems administration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
• Ability to work in a team environment, strong problem-solving and organizational skills, good communication and documentation skills.
• Proactive, driven and with the ability of working independently.

Desirable experience in :

• Test automation using ROBOT Framework
• C / C++ Programming
• Knowledge in Embedded Systems
• Knowledge in Timing Systems.
• Knowledge in instrumentation equipment (Oscilloscopes, Time / Frequency Counters, etc)
