Occupational Therapist
Full-Time, Evening Shift (Mon-Fri 12pm-8pm)
Salary Range : $85,000 to $125,000
About the Role :
As an Occupational Therapist you'll play a crucial role in helping patients regain their functional independence. Your responsibilities will include :
- Patient Evaluation : Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities and identify areas for improvement.
- Treatment Planning : Developing personalized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals.
- Therapy Sessions : Providing therapeutic interventions to help patients improve their daily living skills, motor function, and overall quality of life.
- Documentation : Maintaining detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaboration : Working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Qualifications :
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program with a Bachelor's degree or higher.
- New York state occupational therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
- Successful completion of an orientation program.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- BLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
