How you’ll contribute

The PAI Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Patient Assessment Instrument (IRF-PAI) process to ensure compliance with CMS regulations and accurate reporting of Quality Indicators (QIs). This position coordinates PPD data collection with the interdisciplinary team, ensures timely completion of admission and discharge IRF-PAIs, and maintains accurate documentation and logs. Responsibilities include extracting relevant data from medical records, entering information into CMS-approved systems, verifying accuracy across patient rosters and logs, and supporting team education on QI documentation and competency. Candidates must hold a current clinical license as an OT, PT, RN, SLP, or MSW, possess strong knowledge of QIs, and be familiar with both state and federal healthcare guidelines. Effective communication, clinical assessment, and data entry skills are essential for success in this role.
