A company is looking for a Peer Recovery Support Specialist.Key Responsibilities : Conduct substance misuse assessments and develop recovery and treatment plans using motivational interviewing techniquesAssess, plan, implement, monitor, and evaluate options and services for members with substance use disorder and psychosocial health needsIdentify support linkages to community resources that support individual goals and interestsRequired Qualifications : High School Diploma / GED and 2+ years of related experience with vulnerable populationsPeer Recovery Support Certification with specific training in peer recovery-focused education, ethics, and HIV / other pathogens within the last six yearsEvidence of earning 60 contact and training hours (CEs) of peer recovery-focused education and trainingBasic pharmacology education included in the training
