Key Responsibilities
- Design, test, and develop software packages in order to meet requirements and open system standards
- Develop and maintain software and scripts to support embedded software development and processes
- Supervise student developers
- Follow embedded software development processes and verify managed developers are following embedded development processes
- Contribute to research reports, white papers and competitive proposals
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform analysis of systems and allocate requirements for products utilizing embedded software and firmware
- Develop test plans, procedures, scripts, and tools for test of products utilizing embedded software and firmware
- Support deployment of DevOps pipelines for automated build, check, and test of software and or firmware items
Required Minimum Qualifications
- Extensive experience developing with C++
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
- Experience developing on and for both Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience leading teams of software developers
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- Experience leading teams with mixed expertise
- Experience with requirements management tools
- Experience developing software for a VAX -architecture
- Experience developing software that implements digital processing of signals
- Experience working with radar or other electronic warfare systems
- Experience utilizing DevOps tools such as the Atlassian tool suite or GitLab
