Job Summary :

Mint Cannabis is seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead the operations of our Las Vegas dispensary. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of store management, including driving sales performance, ensuring compliance with state regulations, fostering a positive customer experience, and managing a high-performing team.

The General Manager is responsible for creating a collaborative work environment, executing business strategies, and maintaining operational excellence.

This is a leadership role for a hands-on, strategic thinker who is passionate about the cannabis industry and employee development.

Key Responsibilities :

Leadership & Team Development : Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of 25-50 employees, including assistant managers and front-line staff.

Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and Mint Cannabis values.

Operations Management : Oversee the daily operations of the dispensary, ensuring consistency in customer service, product availability, and operational efficiency.

Monitor store performance and address any concerns proactively.

  • Staff Scheduling & Performance : Develop and manage staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage. Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and implement training programs to promote continuous employee growth.
  • Customer Experience & Service : Ensure a top-tier customer experience by maintaining high service standards, addressing customer inquiries, and resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Compliance & Security : Ensure full compliance with all state and local cannabis laws and regulations. Manage security protocols, including store closing procedures, alarm systems, and cash handling processes.
  • Sales & Financial Oversight : Drive store performance by analyzing sales trends, developing sales strategies, and managing daily financial reports.

Ensure budget adherence and manage expenses efficiently to meet financial goals.

Inventory & Vendor Management : Coordinate with inventory teams to ensure proper stock levels, product rotation, and overall inventory accuracy.

Build and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely product delivery and variety.

Collaboration & Marketing : Work closely with the marketing department to execute promotions, analyze store performance, and recommend opportunities for business growth.

Actively participate in community outreach and brand representation.

Problem-Solving & Decision-Making : Address challenges in real-time, making decisions that positively impact store operations and customer satisfaction.

Provide hands-on support to staff as needed and lead the team through difficult situations.

What You’ll Do :

  • Lead, train, and coach staff to meet performance goals and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Conduct team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and new policies.
  • Implement and oversee compliance efforts to adhere to all cannabis regulations.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of the dispensary, from customer service to back-end inventory management.
  • Drive business results by increasing sales, managing costs, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Qualifications :

  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field preferred.
  • Experience : 3+ years of retail management experience, preferably in a high-volume environment. 1+ year of experience in the cannabis industry is highly preferred.

Experience with cash handling, inventory management, and compliance requirements in a regulated industry. Proven ability to lead a large team, manage operations, and deliver financial results.
