Travel Nurse RN - CVICU in Monroe, MI

TravelNurseSource is working with MedCadre to find a qualified CVICU RN in Monroe, Michigan, 48161!

About The Position

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (06 : 45 - 17 : 15)

Description :

• On Call - 5-6 weekday call and 2 weekend days of call in a 6-week period. Call starts at the end of shift and goes until 7a on weekdays; 7a-7a on weekends

Certifications and Licenses : BLS and CSFA are required. NBSTSA is preferred

Patient Age Group : Adolescents, Adults and Geriatrics

We run 5-6 rooms per day. Each room has 1 scrub tech, 1 CRNA, 1 circulator and 1 FA if needed and available. We do general, ortho, endoscopy and gyn surgery daily. We also do ENT, urology, nure / spine, pain management and bariatric surgery frequently. We have 2 Xi Robots that are utilized almost every day.

Work Setting Experience : Inpatient, Outpatient, Community Hospital

General Skills Experience : Scrub, First Assisting, Aseptic Technique

Surgery Cases : General, Ortho, Ortho / Spine, Urology, Endo / Laparoscopic, Gyn, Neuro / Spine, Bariatrics, ENT, Endoscopy

Labor and Delivery Cases : Abdominal hysterectomy, Anterior / Posterior repair, Bilateral tubal ligation, Dilation & Curettage, Laparoscopic assisted gynecological procedures, Robotic assisted Gynecological procedures, Vaginal hysterectomy

Equipment : Robotics- Davinci Xi (required), Surgery Equipment- Storz video equipment and Olympus endoscopy (are preferred)

No local travelers 50 miles or less

2 years minimum Experience
