Industrial Engineer

Janicki Industries is an innovative, family-owned aerospace company located at the foot of the Cascades. We focus on engineering and manufacturing complex projects for companies in the aerospace, defense, and space industries. We are looking for an Industrial Engineer to join our growing team.

This position is located on-site in Hamilton, Washington State

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The incumbent owns and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in areas of Materials, Material Process, Ergonomics and Industrial Engineering. The incumbent will report to Director of Information Systems for responsibilities and priorities.The following essential job functions are performed as an Industrial Engineer :

Product Flow

• Analyzes material usage to optimize Material Selection and Plant-wide Standardization in an effort to reduce costs
• Works to improve material process flowand optimization of movement through bottle necks and general practices (e.g. autoclave, OPF workflow)
• Uses the philosophy and practices of Lean Manufacturing to create tools and methodology that work within Janicki's dynamic shop environment

Develop and Maintain a Janicki Manufacturing Method

General

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).Janicki will assist with gaining this access once employed. Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.
