Overview

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you drive company value and performance through strategic business partnerships. You will collaborate closely with leaders at all levels, leveraging your analytical expertise to report on and manage key financial and non-financial performance indicators.

You will be the go-to financial advisor for various functions and departments, guiding them through complex financial landscapes and helping them align their goals with the company’s overall strategy.

You will be instrumental in shaping the financial narrative of the organization, from granular data analysis to high-level financial planning.

Your work will support decision-making processes that drive the company’s growth and success. Your ability to translate data into strategic insights will contribute to immediate operational goals and the company's success.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a finance business partner to functional leaders within the organization.
  • Lead revenue forecasting across multiple business segments covering traditional SaaS and usage based models.
  • Provide support in all aspects of financial and data analysis, including providing timely and accurate reporting complemented with insightful analysis.
  • Monitor KPI’s and assist with achievement of organizational goals through data-driven decision support.
  • Collaborate on annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process.
  • Analyze departmental and consolidated reporting of the organization’s financial performance, conducting in-depth research and analysis of variances.
  • Support, analyze, and assist in the preparation and review of the company’s planning cycles, including budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning.
  • Collaborate with business and accounting teams to ensure data integrity across systems, and assist in analyzing, aligning and reporting the key business drivers.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, or Investment Banking
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including building dynamic spreadsheet models
  • At least five years of financial experience in a corporate setting, ideally within a SaaS / Ecommerce environment
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work with colleagues in functions across the company and adapting communication style to suit the audience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review and synthesize large amounts of data from varying sources, and extract information to enhance decision making in all facets of the organization.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills with the ability to set clearly defined objectives, establish priorities, plan activities and projects and manage time effectively.

Monitor progress against deadlines and milestones.

Adaptability with the ability to see issues from the point of view of all stakeholders and adapt own behavior to changing circumstances.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance / accounting or MBA
  • Knowledge of NetSuite and / or NSPB (or other cloud-based planning software)
  • Prior experience supporting and partnering with c-suite level stakeholders
  • Prior experience working in a SaaS organization
