The MPG Sales Consultant is responsible for implementing the MPG small C&I sales strategy within their primary assigned market area.
This role will be responsible for discovering, qualifying and closing new client opportunities to drive volume and margin growth of our portfolio.
The MPG Sales Consultant will develop and build lasting relationships with their clients and prospects, as well as their internal clients ( billing, accounting, operations, credit, legal and other sales team members) to generate current and future sales growth.
This role works under immediate supervision to build sales funnel while learning internal processes, procedures and the natural gas industry to build a book of business. Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales and margin budget goals and market plans
- Generate business by working an assigned territory selling natural gas
- Make formal and informal sales presentations
- Use a consultative selling approach; increase customers awareness of choice as well as competitive advantage over other natural suppliers;
provide potential customer with pricing and effectively close the sale.
- Assure quality and accurate representation of products; represent the company professionally and ensure that potential customers have an exceptional experience.
- Keep detailed records of sales activity via CRM or other means as directed by company.
- Establish new business relationships with target customer organizations, including corporate level executives
- Take leads and build relationships that translate into business
- Work within Mansfield internal groups to improve the customer experience

Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge & Experience
At least two years of sales experience or one year of B2B sales experience
