Position overview :
The Server prepares food orders and serves meals or beverages to patrons; and coordinates kitchen activities.
Responsibilities :
- Supports the mission, core values and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision.
- Completes all hours of state mandated continuing education each year.
- Promotes and displays a spirit of teamwork in performance of daily duties through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
- Supports a positive and professional image through actions and dress.
- Promotes the property in a positive manner and effectively communicates the organization’s values to residents, visitors, co-workers, and the community.
- Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service preferred.
- Take food and beverage orders from guests, enter orders in POS system.
- Ensure guests are satisfied with the beverage, food, and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Prepare coffee barista drinks, specialty drinks and food orders.
- Organizing and maintaining a clean service area.
- Make sure supplies are socked and notify the Director of Culinary Services when supplies are low.
- Ensuring guest satisfaction through dining room cleanliness.
- Performs other duties consistent with the position as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent.
- Food service experience preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Must have a strong understanding of the English language, sufficient to speak, read and write.
