Job Title : Senior HR Generalist

Position Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior HR Generalist to play a key role in supporting our Human Resources department.
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in HR, along with a certification such as SHRM or PHR. This role offers a great opportunity for someone looking to grow and eventually advance into an HR Manager position, leading the department as they continue to develop their skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities :
- HR Support : Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives that align with the company’s objectives, focusing on areas such as talent acquisition, employee engagement, and workforce support.
- Talent Coordination : Support the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, candidate screening, onboarding, and assisting with training and development programs to help attract and retain talent.
- Employee Relations Support : Provide day-to-day guidance to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures. Help foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns and escalating issues when necessary.
- Payroll Processing : Responsible for processing payroll for up to 200 staff members, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in accordance with company policies and compliance with all legal requirements.
- Compliance Assistance : Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as company policies, by supporting the administration of employee benefits, compensation, and payroll.
- Performance Support : Assist with performance management processes, including goal tracking and supporting managers with performance reviews and feedback systems.
- HR Reporting : Collect and organize HR data, supporting metrics and reporting to assess trends and provide input for improving HR practices.
- Organizational Support : Assist with organizational changes and workforce planning by providing input on team structure and assisting in the execution of HR strategies.
- Safety and Compliance Assistance : Collaborate with the safety team to maintain a safe working environment and support compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications :
- Bilingual in Spanish is required
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is Required
- Experience : Minimum of 1 year of progressive HR experience. Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a strong plus.
- Strong understanding in payroll and experience in ADP Workforce
- Experience in Full Cycle HR
- Skills In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and employment law
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
