About The Position
Job Title : Surgical TechnologistJob Specialty : Operating RoomJob Duration : 13 weeksShift : All shifts, all days. Can discuss 8-hour or 12-hour shifts.
Guaranteed Hours : 32 hours per weekExperience : Minimum of 3 years requiredLicense : N / ACertifications : BLS Certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
Must-Have : Graduate from an accredited school of Surgical TechnologyJob Description : - Responsible for assisting the surgical team during operative procedures by arranging and providing sterile instruments and other necessary items.
- Ensure the operating room is prepared with the proper equipment, instruments, and supplies.- Maintain aseptic techniques while preparing for and assisting in invasive procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to execute the procedures safely and effectively.- Comply with the operating room policies and procedures while ensuring patient safety and quality care.
- Participate in the setup and turnover of operating rooms between cases efficiently.- Demonstrate proficiency in sterilization techniques and the handling of sterile supplies.
- Must be willing to travel, with a permanent address more than 50 miles away from the facility.
