About The Position
Job Title : Surgical Technologist Job Specialty : Surgical Technologist (Certified) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Nights - 12HR : 7PM to 7AM, Monday through Friday, 4-5 times per schedule.
Includes 2 weekends per schedule and one holiday or reduced operation duty. Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Strong large / acute care hospital experience License : Not specified Certifications : NBSTSA Certification Required Must-Have : - DaVinci experience - Neuro, Ortho, Vascular, Trauma skills Job Description : - Provide support during surgical procedures by ensuring the sterile field and passing instruments and supplies.
- Assist the surgical team in preparing the operating room and maintaining sterility throughout procedures.- Ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.
- Collaborate with surgical staff to ensure patient safety and efficient workflow.- Participate in patient preparation and transfer to and from the operating room.
- Comply with all hospital policies and procedures to promote best practices in surgical care.- Adapt to schedule changes and fulfill on-call duties as required.
- Participate in departmental meetings and continuous learning initiatives to stay updated with advancements in surgical technology.
