As a Personal Trainer at the YMCA of the North Shore, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional experiences for our members and program participants.
In our state-of-the-art facility, you will customize workouts to meet the unique needs of each client, providing hands-on instruction and guidance.
Your daily responsibilities will include engaging with members on the fitness floor through exercise demonstrations and machine overviews, suggesting personalized workouts, offering complimentary sessions, and promptly responding to members who need assistance.
You’ll meet regularly with clients, recommending adaptations and modifications to ensure their progress aligns with their individual abilities.
Additionally, you will welcome everyone who enters the fitness center, address inquiries, and help maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our equipment.
To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in personal training or exercise instruction, with the ability to connect with a diverse range of individuals.
A strong understanding of health and fitness principles, strength training components, and various fitness machines is essential.
The ideal candidate will value client assessment and evaluation, recognizing the importance of developing personalized training plans tailored to individual goals.
