Diversified Sourcing Solutions (DSS), is currently sourcing for a DIRECT HIRE - Manufacturing Process Engineer for one our valued customers in the Suwanee, Georgia area :
The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for developing new and improving existing
manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods. Employee should be
able to design and implement new systems, process, and procedures to improve quality, establish
a cost-effective manufacturing process and develop best practices within the production process.
They must have the following skills :
- Experience with manufacturing or plant engineering (3-5 years experience desired)
- Experience with the practical application of Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma Systems
- Ability to lead and function in a team environment, while effectively communicating
across various levels of the organization.
Excellent problem solving skills; excellent technical, verbal, written and presentation
skills.
Knowledge of materials, SMT Placement machines, Wave solder, AOI machine, ICT,
mechanical assembly, process flow, Lean / Kanban, product development, and trouble-
shooting.
- Extensive Experience and Knowledge of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies
- Machine Programming and the SMT Process
- Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment and on the Production Floor
Salary is BOE - Starts at $90,000
BS Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical) (Masters preferred)
