Job Description : We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team as a long-term substitute for the 2024-2025 school year in Spring Lake Park, MN.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with elementary students (K-4) in a supportive and dynamic educational environment.
Location : Spring Lake Park, MN
Duration : 2024-2025 School Year (8 / 26 / 24 - 10 / 30 / 24)
Caseload : Elementary K-4
Employment Type : Long-term Substitute
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify students' needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' unique requirements.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of students' progress and therapy sessions.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of comprehensive educational plans.
Necessary Qualifications :
- A Masters (M.A. / M.S.) or Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Minnesota State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Strong creative planning and organizational skills.
- Highly effective interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
