The Manufacturing Electrical Engineer will be responsible for working with internal and external customers, gathering information, implementing information in a design and ensuring build completion for various ETO projects.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience : 2+ years of relevant industry experience

Travel : 5%

Work Schedule : Typical work hours are between 7 : 00 a.m. and 5 : 00 p.m. Monday Friday; However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform engineering tasks, ACADE, and Inventor as needed
  • Reviews and understands customer project requirements and customer specifications.
  • Prepares technical drawings, and electrical specifications to ensure that installations and designs conform to standards and customer requirements.
  • Plans layout of electrical construction projects with direction from an upper-level Engineer.
  • Prepares documentation for others to build assemble from.
  • DFX DFA and DFM knowledge.
  • Placing panels, transformers, and other electrical equipment with code compliance in mind.
  • Cable tray sizing and routing.
  • Sizing conduit, conduit fill, and routing.
  • Create schedules and wiring diagrams for lighting install, receptacle connections, panel and transformer termination connections, motor and disconnect wiring.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
