Job Overview :
We are seeking dedicated Occupational Therapists (OT) and Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA) to join our team near Lawrence, IN.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to support students in K-12 educational settings, focusing on enhancing their functional independence and academic participation.
Whether you prefer a full-time or part-time schedule, we can offer flexible options to meet your needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions to support students academic and functional skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create effective therapy plans that address sensory, motor, and cognitive needs.
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and measure progress.
- Provide direct therapy services and document all sessions and progress accurately.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of goals and acmodations.
Qualifications :
- OT : Masters or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy and Indiana OT license.
- COTA : Associates or Bachelor'sdegree in Occupational Therapyand Indiana COTA license.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong munication and collaboration skills.
