$98,900.00 - $148,400.00

POSITION SUMMARY :

Responsible for producing and analyzing reports to support the profitability and financial reporting functions of the credit union.

May be accountable for the coordination, compilation and distribution of financial data by junior staff. This position will conduct complex performance and opportunity assessments to inform decision-making, policy development, system development, and management.

This position will sustain a key role in the design, implementation, and documentation of profitability solutions, streamline report development and production, integrate financial systems and data, and sustain and navigate ongoing evolution of financial reporting needs.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS :

Support existing processes and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control request.

Problem solving issues that arise in day to day running of automated processes and providing timely responses and solutions as required.

Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery / project manager accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process.

Responsible for maintaining accurate employee hierarchies and vendor lists in the current Invoice / Expense Reporting platform.

Responsible for maintaining spend and revenue category within the ledger account in Workday.

Demonstrates leadership by providing coaching and / or mentoring to team members by sharing comprehensive knowledge of financial systems and financial subject matter while providing training and technical support for Finance's system applications such as Workday, Concur, Adaptive Insights, MPC, WCUFinance.com.

Responsible for preparing materials related to the monthly budget variance, branch performance, organizational profitability, and product profitability reports.

Responsible for maintenance of data warehouse components consisting of GL data extracts, membership totals, and loans and shares data to ensure high levels of data accuracy and availability for reporting and analysis.

Documentation of the methodology supporting the allocation rules and analysis of the organizational and product profitability solutions.

Develop communications supporting future enhancements, and the potential use or leveraging of the MPC system for business units and functions.

Develops and maintains specialized knowledge of accounting and financial concepts, activity based costing, funds transfer pricing, and application to the organization's profitability measurement process.

Produce Ad-Hoc reports as needed.

Responsible for ensuring accuracy of NCUA 5300 Call Report.

Instrumental in mentoring and training team members.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience. 5 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably within a financial institution.

4+ years experience of .Net programming (C#, VB Script) or Java application development.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Must have great analytical and communications skills. Financial statement knowledge and a moderate understanding of the structure of the credit union's balance sheet and income statements preferred.

COMPUTER SKILLS :

Proficiency in database platforms and languages (SQL, Oracle, Access). Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Proficiency in Microsoft Business Intelligence Studio (SQL, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS).

Experience and / or knowledge of Fiserv MPC and Sendero ALM, FTP, DMS products. Experience with Concur. Experience with Symitar.

Familiarity with Access, SQL and Web-based applications desired. Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and Powerpoint).

Experience with Symitar, FICS Mortgage Servicer, Workday and Concur strongly desired

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages.
