About The Position
Medicus is partnering with a hospital in central New York, offering a long-term opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a dedicated Emergency Medicine team.
Position Highlights :
- Flexible Scheduling : 4-6 shifts per month, 7p-7a, no call shifts
- Long-Term : Ongoing coverage available
- Daily Census : 8-21 patients
- Annual Volume : 10,000
- Facility : 7 ED rooms
- Procedures : Resuscitation, intubation (including surgical airways), ventilator management, pressor agents, sedation, and interpreting blood gases
- EMR : MedHost
- Independent Work : Provide solo coverage on the ER and HM floor
- Support Staff : 2 RNs, LPN, respiratory therapist, supervising RN
- Board Certification : Required
- Accommodations : Paid travel & lodging provided
