Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our spa. As a Driftwood Massage Therapist, you will give an experience- not just a service, to every guest.

Tailor personalized massage treatments to your guest’s individual needs and health goals and recommend specific body treatments, rituals, yoga, sauna as it makes sense.

The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy, the lymphatic system, and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of massage services & body treatments
• Educate clients on the services and products offered as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy
• Keep accurate records of each session and interactions with guests
• Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals
• Maintain a sanitary & spotless treatment room between every guest and at the end of each day
• Be a part of the Driftwood team and help with laundry, housekeeping, and maintaining a luxury 5-star spotless environment at all times
• Execute Driftwood vision and values every day

Qualifications

• Hold current massage therapy license in the state of North Carolina
• Capable of performing deep tissue, Swedish, and maternity massage modalities
• Certified or willing to become certified in prenatal massage, lymphatic drainage, and cupping (already certified is a plus!)
• Wants to work in a luxury setting and willing to uphold a five-star resort-like demeanor of high professionalism at all times
• Quick learner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strongly service-oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting, and with the Driftwood team
• High level of ethics and integrity
• A passion for helping people look and feel their best
