Supervisor - Field Services - Position Summary

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating people and processes to ensure EGW projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results.
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager - Field Services and the Manager - Services to develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and delivery within budget and scope.
  • Supervise, coordinate, communicate, and manage assigned technicians in EGW's field-based service operations.
  • Responsible for safety and regulatory compliance, staffing, training, employee development, scheduling, and process improvement.
  • Develop successful working relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and follow-up.

Field Services Project Manager Responsibility

  • Oversee technicians, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training employees.
  • Manage current projects and assist the Service Delivery Team in developing proposals for prospective clients.
  • Perform quality control on EGW service projects and document departmental processes for continuous improvement.
  • Manage fleet vehicles, including maintenance and accident reporting.
  • Responsible for invoicing clients accurately and timely.
  • Host client weekly meetings via TEAMS, providing pre-meeting agendas.
  • Ensure the warehouse space is clean and organized, maintaining inventory.
  • Plan, budget, purchase, and inventory tools and equipment required by Field Services personnel.

Work Environment

  • Inside and outside conditions in various weather, with exposure to heat, cold, fumes, and noise.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours as necessary.

Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, bending, lifting up to fifty pounds, and having a keen sense of smell.

Position Type and Expected Hours

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m., with variable hours as needed.

Travel

Intermittent travel within or outside the DFW area.

Main Office Location

Must reside in the DFW Metroplex and report to EGW headquarters daily.

Required Education & Skills Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in managing field-based construction, service, and maintenance projects.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Other Requirements

Pre- and post-employment screenings, drug testing, and motor vehicle record checks are required.

Preferred Education & Skills Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or associate degree in a related field.
  • Experience with gas utilities or related fields.
