Fibertek, Inc. (www.fibertek.com) is a leading developer of laser and electro-optical systems for the aerospace community, with key contributions to earth-sensing, laser communications, and lidar sensors for NASA, DoD, and commercial customers.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead a group of highly specialized experts to develop new laser transmitter subsystems, lidar systems, and space-based communications systems.
As the Technical Program Manager, you will interface with the customer and develop system design concepts that meet program objectives.
The workload will at times include multiple concurrent projects, with a mix of small, quick-turn projects and larger, longer-term projects.
Your role will include : Establish system key performance parameters; and the requirements flow-down to subsystemsLead engineering and manufacturing teams through the end-to-end development of active electro-optic systemsAssign tasks to program team members and set / communicate program priorities and goalsKeep senior management appraised of status / issues (technical, programmatic, workforce)Experience and expertise required : BS engineering, MS engineering preferred5 to 10 years of design, build and test experienceMinimum of 5 years program management experience with electro-optic or laser systemsSystems engineering experienceStrong communication and documentation skillsExcellent customer interfacing skillsUS citizenship requiredà PI36bc3c6ced95-35216-34373215
