We have an opening for an experienced Case Fit Operator at our Manlius, NY facility.

Job Responsibilities :

• Identify a variety of wood species products including but not limited to the following wood species : Cherry, Mahogany, Oak, Maple, Birch, and Veneers
• Read, comprehend, and full fill production ticket and meet production goals based on case time standards
• Set up work in the safest, most efficient manner per specifications and when no other jobs are noted as needed line up jobs in a manner that minimizes setup time. Utilize procedure booklets to make correct operating decisions and confer with management on out of scope situations
• Conduct any and all preventive maintenance per machine specifications
• Inspect parts for quality and dimensional accuracy
• Reports to their supervisor for direction daily and promptly report any questions or problems
• Operate assigned machines in a safe manner
• Utilize small power and hand tools and be able to custom fit drawers and doors to furniture.
• Work independently and make decisions based on established operating procedures
