Restorative Interventionist Teacher- IDEA Hardy (24-25)
Description
Role Mission : Restorative Interventionist works directly with scholars who exhibit significant behavioral difficulties to ensure that they graduate from IDEA Public Schools and go to and through college by providing culturally responsive support.
In collaboration with school leadership, interventionists are responsible for facilitating key systems that drive the achievement of scholars on disciplinary plans.
The interventionist will ensure that each student is appropriately supported so that they can make progress towards their individual goals and learn to deescalate and build back trust with their school community.
This is a Brown Foundation, grant funded position and funding may be extended. A grant-funded position has no guarantee of ongoing and indefinite employment.
All duties and responsibilities tied to this position are allowable and allocable to the grant.
What We Offer
Compensation :
The starting teacher salary for 0 years of experience is $62,500. This role is eligible for various stipends based on certifications, credentials, and campus leadership ranging from $500-$4,000 each.
We also offer opportunities and incentives through our Teacher Career Pathway with the potential to earn up to $10,000 in additional compensation.

Additional hourly compensation is provided for after school tutoring or Saturday school as assigned.

Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution required
- Experience : Experience in a K-12 classroom setting strongly preferredExpertise in the following is highly preferred : Positive Behavior Intervention and SupportsCrisis Prevention / ManagementRestorative Justice Practices
