Responsibilities :

• Cloud Financial Management :
• Develop and implement strategies for optimizing cloud costs across multiple platforms (e.g.,Azure, GCP) based on business priorities and usage patterns.
• Monitor cloud expenditure, analyze cost drivers, and provide recommendations to control and reduce costs while maintaining performance and reliability.
• Cloud FinOps Architecture :
• Design and implement scalable and cost-efficient cloud architectures that align with business objectives and financial goals.
• Implement cloud cost allocation models, tagging strategies, and budget management frameworks to enable accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
• Financial Governance and Compliance :
• Establish governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations, cost management best practices, and internal controls.
• Conduct regular audits and reviews of cloud financial data to identify risks, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
• Technical Leadership and Collaboration :
• Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams on cloud financial management principles, methodologies, and tools.
• Collaborate with finance, procurement, and IT teams to integrate cloud cost management into financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Continuous Improvement and Innovation :
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud financial management (FinOps).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cost-efficiency, enhance performance, and leverage new cloud services and capabilities.
• Documentation and Communication :
• Create comprehensive documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate cloud cost optimization strategies, recommendations, and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Effectively communicate complex financial and technical concepts to non-technical audiences, including executives and business leaders.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience as a Cloud FinOps Architect or similar role, with a focus on cloud financial management, cost optimization, and architecture.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, including pricing models, cost management tools, and optimization techniques.
• Expertise in implementing cloud cost allocation, tagging strategies, and budget governance frameworks.
• Familiarity with financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends to drive informed decisions.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
