Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in both CT and X-ray for night shifts in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Position is in an acute care hospital working in the Rad / CT department
  • Duties include performing both CT and X-ray exams, including in the ED, portable imaging on patient floors, CCU, OR, and PACU as needed
  • Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts; shifts start at either 8pm or 9pm on weekdays and 6pm–6am on weekends
  • Night techs work a 7 nights on, 7 nights off schedule, Wednesday through Tuesday
  • Staff will work independently after orientation
  • Epic EMR and XIM software are used in the department
  • Orientation is provided with a preceptor until both the candidate and trainer are comfortable
  • Night technologists are expected to function independently after orientation
  • Scrubs are ceil blue
  • Candidates with previous employment at the facility must have an end date at least 6 months prior to consideration
  • Local candidates within 80 miles may be accepted
  • All staff must badge in and out when onsite

    • Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years recent experience in both CT and X-ray is required
  • Active ARRT certification and current BLS (AHA) are required
  • Proficiency with Epic EMR and XIM software is required
  • License required if applicable
