FOOD COURT CASHIER

Summary :

Provide front counter service to customers for the Food Court outlets, including taking food and beverage orders. Prepare requested items, work with the fellow employees to ensure orders are properly prepared in a timely manner, and efficiently manage the point of sale system.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities :

• Maintain knowledge of all menu options, take orders, and serve the prepared items to the guests
• Manage cash bank, ensuring balance is accurate at the end of the shift
• Check in warehouse orders and put items away in a timely manner according to procedure, utilizing proper signage
• Ensure adequate supplies are available for the shift, including ribbons, comp paper, cash drop envelopes and receipt paper
• Retain receipts for all transactions, and records and reconciles transactions on the point of sale system
• Run necessary reports, complete comp, void, and tip sheets prior to end of the shift
• Provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow employees
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements : Qualifications

Qualifications

• Previous cash handling and customer service experience
• 6 months of previous experience working in high volume, fast-paced restaurant or cashiering environment preferred
• Prior experience with Infogenesis systems preferred
• Previous experience working in a team or group environment
• Able to effectively communication in English, both written and verbal
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States

Physical Requirements

• Frequently push and / or pull up to 35 lbs.
• Frequently lift and / or carry up to 35 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and / or chest levels
• Occasionally sit and use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity
• Frequently bend, reach, twist, squat, kneel, walk, distinguish between shades of color, and communicate via radio
• Constant use of hearing and vision, standing, and communicate using a paging system
