A DAY IN THE LIFE
We are looking for a highly motivated College Safety Intern / Co-op, who is passionate about the construction process to join our team.
At ARCO, an Intern / Co-op has the opportunity to assist Safety Managers with the following :
- Visit Jobsites and get hands on experience from our expert field personnel on projects in a variety of industries including distribution, office, foodservice, multi-family housing, entertainment and more.
- Hone your safety skills working directly with an experienced Safety Manager on design / build construction projects including Fortune 500 companies, award winning commercial real estate developers and small business end users.
- Make a meaningful contribution to ARCO’s success by performing critical safety related tasks.
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0.
- Enrolled in Environmental Health and Safety programs, or other related degree programs.
- Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to travel nationwide to visit projects.
- Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence
