- Communicate with clients in a professional manner to obtain client data efficiently
- Obtain and review clients' SAP, Oracle, JDE, or other ERP tables as appropriate and determine how they relate
- Convert clients' data files
- Verify clients' data files, including identification of shifting data, etc.
- Add data fields to existing client files
- Reconcile client data to the G / L
- Perform statistical sampling on client data using IDEA software
- Handle specific data requests from Transaction Tax Associates, Managers, and Directors
- Supervise Associates in the group
- Assist Transaction Tax and Property Tax Compliance as needed with client data conversion issues
- Manage large workloads in an efficient manner
- Maintain a client data log of all data projects for viewing by the DMA team
- Prepare and maintain working notes for all client data projects
- Track time expended on client data projects for ROI analysis and client billingsNON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Purge old data files based on DMA's retention policy
- Perform other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 8+ years' related professional experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and beginner skills in Word and Access
- Prior experience with IDEA, SAP, OmniPage, and Ultra Edit preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication skills
