Job Overview
Working under minimal supervision, the Sales & Customer Service Technical Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of short and long-term initiatives and projects, gathering data, doing research, developing and using reports and their observations to improve business procedures and results.
This individual is also responsible for contributing to organizational goals and strategic plans while maintaining strong relationships across other functions in the organization.
Compensation : Depends on experience and varies by location.
This position is considered exempt for purposes of wage-hour law.
California Compensation :
The pay range for this position is $74,979 - $112,468 annually, depending on experience.
Colorado Compensation :
The pay range for this position is $68,163 - $107,356 annually, depending on experience.
Nevada Compensation :
The pay range for this position is $71,571 - $107,356 annually, depending on experience.
Washington Compensation :
The pay range for this position is $68,163 - $102,244 annually, depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead special projects and contribute to organizational and strategic initiatives.
- Assist with improving processes and procedures through data gathering, analysis, development of recommendations and providing guidance and leadership during periods of change.
- Coordinate and develop project timelines and plans.
- Develop and utilize reports that will enable the business to make informed decisions.
- Ensure all documents and materials contain current and relevant information.
- Build and maintain partnerships with teams across the organization to understand business priorities, and to assist with monitoring and implementing regulatory changes.
- Lead testing and simulation efforts to ensure implementation accuracy, effectiveness and ease of use.
- Monitor, respond and track social media posts and reviews
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- College Degree and minimum 5 years of progressive experience required or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance guidelines and applicable insurance coverage forms.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects / assignments, establish priorities, and complete assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis.
- Ability to conduct research, analyze results and translate their findings through report or presentation.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to develop standards for ensuring quality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to comfortably deliver project presentations to large and small audiences.
- Ability to work in a team environment and as an independent contributor with limited direction and oversight.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to study data, draw accurate conclusions and make logical and reasoned decisions.
- Professional Designation in Insurance such as CPCU, AINS would be considered an asset
- Position requires the ability to lift up to 10 lbs on a daily basis.
- Position requires medium mobility throughout the branch buildings to meet internal customer demands.
