KYU, a dynamic wood-fired, Asian-inspired dining concept, is seeking a professional and high-energy Bartender with exceptional communication skills to create and serve classic cocktails and innovative beverages to our valued patrons.
Responsibilities :
- Execute station opening and closing duties at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Warmly welcome customers, attentively assess their beverage preferences, and efficiently take drink orders.
- Provide informed recommendations to guests based on a comprehensive understanding of KYU's beer, wine, cocktail, and food offerings.
- Meticulously select and blend ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to ensure a delightful experience for customers.
- Verify customer identification to comply with legal age requirements for alcohol purchase.
- Manage inventory levels and initiate supply orders to maintain a well-stocked bar and tables.
- Strictly adhere to all food safety and quality regulations, upholding the highest standards.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision, ensuring accuracy in charges and promptly returning correct change to patrons while maintaining cash register balance.
- Uphold cleanliness standards in both the work area and dining space by promptly disposing of trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
- Innovate and develop new cocktail recipes to expand the beverage offerings.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fine dining restaurant settings.
- Proficiency in various POS systems.
- Deep knowledge of distilleries, cocktail history, mixology, and wine.
- Demonstrated teamwork abilities, exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Punctuality and unwavering ethical conduct in the workplace.
