Join our client's team as a Quality Engineer in Ephrata, PA. This is a key position in upholding and improving the quality of renowned products across diverse sectors.
This role is based at our client's location, with occasional travel for customer interactions, training, and site visits.
The compensation for this role goes up to 85K for the right candidate.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise supplier quality performance and conduct supplier audits
- Manage Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs)
- Contribute to New Product Implementation (NPI) meetings
- Compile quality documentation and reports, including process failures, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and revalidations
- Write measuring programs for equipment and measure parts using various tools
- Update work instructions and create visual aids as required
- Lead problem-solving on quality issues
- Analyze quality issues to identify root causes and implement corrective action
- Facilitate First Article Inspections and submit reports to customers
- Support the Quality department team members
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
Requirements :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a Lean manufacturing environment
- 2-year technical degree required; a 4-year college degree is preferred
- ISO 2015 and AS9100 certified and / or ASQ certified; CQE preferred
- Experience in reading and interpreting customer blueprints
- Experience with internal audits, corrective actions, and interaction with suppliers and customers
