Travel Radiation Therapist Job in The Dalles, OR
Location : The Dalles, Oregon
Shift : Days, 5x8-hour shifts (7 : 30 AM - 4 : 30 PM)
Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Travel Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team in The Dalles, OR. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiation therapy and be ready to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist
- Monitor patients during treatment for any unusual reactions or side effects
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and accurate treatment delivery
- Maintain and operate radiation therapy equipment
- Follow all hospital protocols and safety standards
Requirements :
- ARRT (Aman Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and handle critical situations
