Job Description Summary :

This Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in analyzing large datasets, uncovering trends, and providing valuable insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Collaborating cross-functionally with teams, you will develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape our data strategy and leverage data as a strategic asset.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Analyze extensive datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, providing valuable insights to inform business strategies and decision-making processes.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as SQL, C#, JavaScript, and HTML to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as the Claims Department to understand data needs, requirements, and objectives, and provide analytical support as needed.
• Clean, transform, and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness, employing best practices and data quality standards.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analysis and visualization, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization, preferably in a corporate or business environment.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Physical Requirements :

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
