Senior Security Engineer

Anduril's Insider Threat and Counterintelligence Team is looking for a security engineer to build world class defensive controls to protect Anduril information, infrastructure, and brand.

This is a role with wide breadth that will have the latitude to design and implement cutting edge security solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Engineer advanced solutions to secure sensitive data against unauthorized access or disclosures
• Design and build robust insider threat detection and response architectures
• Architect and implement automation of insider threat monitoring and investigation workflows
• Contribute to internal investigations where needed providing support in forensic analysis, log review, analysis of alerts, summary of incident timeline, etc.
• Execute rigorous testing on internal security mechanisms to validate their effectiveness

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Action-oriented engineer with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of complex projects
• Strong programming ability in one or more general purpose languages (Python, Go, C++, etc)
• Experience developing and implementing defensive controls around Windows, MacOS, Linux, and SaaS applications
• Proficiency with automating workflows and integrating security tools within IT environments
• Experience with AWS or Azure security ecosystem and tooling
• Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Splunk and / or other SIEMs.
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools, device management tooling and other telemetry sources
• Experience working on insider threat teams or working insider threat investigations
• Experience with broad system forensics
• Experience communicating technical security concerns and issues to a non-technical audience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, Computer Engineering and 3+ years of security engineering experience;

or 5+ years of security engineering experience without a degree

Possess and able to maintain a U.S. TS Security Clearance
