As a Cashier at Costco, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while accurately and efficiently processing customer purchases.
You will handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensure proper pricing, and assist customers with their inquiries and needs.
Your role is essential in maintaining a positive shopping experience for Costco members.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Scan and process customer purchases accurately.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Ensure proper pricing and apply discounts as necessary.
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Bag merchandise and assist with cart retrieval when needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
