Seeking CNC Machinists for our Redford, MI location!
This position contributes to the company's success by having a thorough understanding of consistent and reliable operation of CNC machining equipment.
This is a full-time on-site role.
The CNC Operator will be responsible for machine operation, quality control, machining, milling, and operating machinery.
The role requires strong attention to detail , precision, and the ability to follow instructions accurately. Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to :
- Reviews shop orders and drawings to determine machining specifications and requirements.
- Monitors and changes cutting tools (inserts) as needed
- Performs dimensional inspection of product as required.
- Other job duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Machine Operation and Machinery skills
- Knowledge of CNC programming
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
