WongDoody is seeking a self-motivated individual capable of identifying, pursuing and winning strategic and creative new business opportunities.

The Director, Business Development, Immersive Experience will combine their current experience selling digital experiences and transformation along with a swiftly-acquired knowledge of agency history, case studies, current business and strategic direction to contribute to the growth and financial success of the company.

The Director, Business Development will be the face of our growing Immersive Experience team that develops cutting-edge customer and employee experiences by blending creativity, technology, data and AI across a variety of formats for digital channels, TV and DooH, as well as interactive live communication and real-time applications.

Using the latest methods for CGI, Real-time 3D, motion design and 3D digital twin tech as well as live action shoots, our strategic, creative and in-house production teams are shaping the future of brand experience and digital products at the intersection of physical and digital.

This sales leader will be responsible for identifying, pitching and closing Immersive Experience business opportunities building strategic partnerships, and expanding our client portfolio with clients across a variety of industries.

This will be done both independently as well as in partnership with the existing account teams from Infosys, our parent company.

They will drive incremental revenue and creative opportunities, growing a funnel of prospects and converting them into wins.

This dynamic and results-driven professional will prioritize and manage new business pursuits with support from a cross functional team.

A collaborative leader that works well in a highly creative team environment, has a sense of humor, patience, and a tolerance for pressure is a must.

An ideal candidate will be local to New York City or the Dallas Fort Worth area.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Proactively initiate new client relationships and leverage existing partnerships through our position as an Experience Innovation Agency, an Infosys company
  • Follow up and qualify new business leads and identify and prioritize growth opportunities
  • Lead and own the quality and final deliverable of RFI / RFP responses, including proposals and presentations
  • Manage complex pitches and prospect meetings, working effectively across all WongDoody capabilities, including branding, advertising, experience design, production and strategy
  • Participate in new business strategy decision making and planning with business development team and executive leadership
  • Identify and engage with prospect client contacts, understand their business needs, build relationships and come up with solutions that genuinely help them, to "solve not sell"
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets by effectively negotiating contracts, closing deals, and expanding client engagements

WHAT YOU'VE GOT

  • The ideal candidate will thrive within a creative environment and be well versed in the specifics of digital product design and MarTech&marketing technologies
  • Successful track record (7+ years) of building business within a digital / marketing agency or consulting environment
  • Ability to speak to both tactical and strategic decision makers; hold their own in conversations with senior WongDoody, Infosys and client leadership;

and command a room in pitch situations

  • Proven experience in building and leading a cross functional team in the pitch / BD process
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to identify and seize opportunities
  • Strong writing and presentation skills. Charismatic and credible when presenting to executive level clients.
