St. Michael Parish School seeks two full-time elementary teachers for the 2024-25 school year. Teachers report directly to the Principal.
Candidates must be committed to sharing our Catholic faith with students and guiding students to achieve high academic standards.
Candidates should have good organizational and interpersonal skills. We are looking for a motivated and mission driven educator to be part of our supportive and faith-filled school community.
The successful candidate :
Is willing to partner with a vibrant, energetic community of teachers who work collaboratively for the sake of all students in the school.
Creates a warm, well-managed, organized and supportive classroom environment that engages all students as learners.
Has a strong background in teaching a variety of academic subjects and can effectively teach the standards as defined by Washington State, the Common Core, and the Archdiocese of Seattle.
Is faith-filled and is committed to the mission and ministry of Catholic education and uses the teachings of Christ in creating a supportive environment for children and families.
Uses a variety of instructional strategies, assessments and technologies to meet the diverse needs of each student.
Can effectively communicate with an active parent community.
Is willing to add value to the school community using their gifts and talents outside the classroom.
Has a desire to continue professional development.
The ideal candidate will :
Have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience (preferred)
Hold a Bachelor's Degree and a valid teaching certificate
Practicing Catholic candidate preferred
Salary : The range is $49,707 - $93,641. Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications
