Qualifications : Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred. Competencies Attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Self-starting, independent individual. Highly motivated and organized problem solver.

Experience HIM / Medical Records : Minimum 1 year in HIM / medical records or related fields Customer Service Experience Organzational Skills Ability to Mutitask Medical Record Regulatory Requirements : Working Knowledge Required Analytical Skills : Intermediate required Problem Solving Skills : Intermediate required Data Analysis Skills : Basic required Research Skills : Basic required Computer Skills : Intermediate required Microsoft Office : Working knowledge required Knowledge of the Health Record : Working knowledge required Medical Terminology : Preferred EHR Terminology : Basic Required Scanning Documents : Preferred Coding / Billing Knowledge : N / A Preferred Licensure : RHIT or RHIA Preferred HIM Experience : Minimum 2-3 years in an acute care medical records department;
