FetchMe and Cosmic Delivery is the leading food delivery service in Athens! We are looking for someone living within the Athens.
GA or Watkinsville Area . We are founded by UGA Alum and deliver food and cater to over 90 restaurants in the area! Our commitment to delivering excellent service requires a meticulous and honest bookkeeper to manage our financial books, including cash handling and deposits.
As a part-time bookkeeper at FetchMe and Cosmic Delivery, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and transparency of our financial transactions.
Your responsibilities will include handling cash drops, making pickups at our local safes, and ensuring all financial records for cash orders are meticulously maintained.
Key Responsibilities : - Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information. - Handling cash pickups, drops and making deposits - Accurately record all financial transactions related to cash handling and deposits.
- Reconcile cash statements and ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date. - Prepare financial spreadsheets and reports as applicable.
- Ensure compliance with company standards. - Coordinate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. Qualifications : - Ability to handle sensitive financial information with integrity and confidentiality.
- Ability to work part-time hours as needed. - Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets (or willing to learn) - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
